Mary E. Dickson, 90, of Tyrone died Sunday June 23, 2019 at Epworth Manor.

She was born November 25, 1928 in Tyrone a daughter of Harry H. and Josephine (Maceno) Saylor. On April 3, 1947 in Tyrone she married Paul C. Dickson Sr. He died May 1, 2010.

Surviving are a daughter Peggy Jo Fontana of Tyrone, a son Paul C. Jr. and wife Brenda of Harrison, Tennessee, two grandchildren; Erin Senter and husband Ricky of Clarksburg, Missouri, Tech. Sgt. USAF Vince Fontana and wife Jennifer of Joint Base MDL, New Jersey, a great-granddaughter Maddie Jo Senter, a great-grandson Henry Thomas Fontana, three sisters; Shirley Wheland of Tyrone, Frances Phoenix of Bellefonte, Donna Rupert of Tyrone and a brother Robert Saylor of Altoona. She was preceded in death by two brothers; John and William Saylor.

Mrs. Dickson retired on December 31, 1990 from Big Yank, Tyrone as a seamstress following 28 years service.

She was a member and past chaplain of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 4559, Tyrone and was a Tyrone High School graduate.

Mary was a longtime bowler at the West End Lanes, Tyrone. She enjoyed camping with her family.
