Mary Mildred Bradford, 74 of Tyrone, died Thursday, October 14, 2021. She was born in State College on August 28, 1947, the daughter of the late Christopher and Mary Esther (Gumaer) Cowher. On April 9, 1976 she married Fred Bradford who preceded her in death on June 12, 2003. She is survived by two children: Chris (Jamie) Bradford and Betty (Kevin) Collins; five stepchildren; four grandchildren and 9 step grandchildren; and 17 step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one stepson; and three siblings: William and Pete Cowher, and Mildred Tompkins.

Mary was a graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School. She was formerly employed as a cook at Robbie's Diner in Port Matilda. She attended the Rock of Ages Church before it's closing and was currently attending the Bible Baptist Church in Tyrone.

She enjoyed baking and crocheting but most of all she loved to read her Bible.

A noon funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc. with Reverend Ken Patterson officiating. Friends will be received from 10 am until the noon service. A luncheon following the service will be held at the UVHA in Bellwood.
