Martin Starr, Jr., 92 of Tyrone, died Monday, July 20, 2020. He was born on October 16, 1927 in Emporium, PA the son of the late Martin and Elizabeth (Horn) Starr Sr. On July 31, 1950 in Winchester, VA he married Shirley Cowher who survives. Also surviving are three sons: Bob (Pam), Mike, and John (Rosanne) Starr; one daughter: Judy (Dave) White; eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Martin Was a 1945 graduate of Tyrone High School. After school he served in the US Army. He worked and retired from the Chicago Rivet and Machine Company as a machinist.

He was a member of the VFW Anderson-Denny Post 4559, American Legion Howard Gardner Post 281, Bald Eagle Fire Company and the Boy Scouts. Martin also enjoyed Tyrone sports and was a large supporter of Tyrone Wrestling.

At Martin's request there will be no services. Interment will be made at the Bald Eagle Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
