Martha A. Sechrist, 85, of Grazierville died Sunday August 16, 2015 at Valley View Home.

She was born February 22, 1930 in Tipton a daughter of Thomas and Amanda Closson. On Feburary 24, 1951 in Warriors Mark she married Clarence R. Sechrist. He died October 3, 2000.

Surviving are two sons, George of Tipton, James and wife Lois of Grazierville, two daughters Grace Lewis and husband Dewey of Grimsley, Grimsley, Tennessee, Sue Bongiorno and husband Jim of Pittsburgh, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a sister Grace Wilson of Altoona. She was preceded in death by a son Thomas and a granddaughter Julie.

Mrs. Sechrist attended the First English Church, Tyrone.

She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, gardening, canning and baking.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 19, 2015 at 11 A.M. at Feller Memorial Home with Pastor Sharon Erb officiating. Interment will follow at Charlottesville Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 to 8 P.M.
