Marjorie Anne Walker, 79 of Tyrone passed away on Monday, September 19, 2023. She was born on March 27, 1944, in Buffalo, NY, the daughter of the late Meryn D. and Constance (Eckert) Walker. She is survived by two sisters: Barbara (Ronald) Walker Shunk of Gettysburg and Susan (Preston) Walker Rice of Tyrone; two nieces: Reagan (William) Shunk Rhodes, and Stephanie (Robert) Rice-Striker; a nephew: Jared C. Rice; and great nieces and nephews: Anais, Caleb and Sam Biesecker, and Ebonee Rice-Nyugen.

Marjorie received her undergraduate from Shippensburg University and her Master's from Penn State University. She was an elementary teacher in the Tyrone Area School District. She loved reading, good food and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed taking care of her yard and loved her pets and spending time with her neighbor's dogs and walking them.

At Marjorie's request there will be no services scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under the care of Feller Memorial Home. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Blair County SPCA.
