Marie G. Williams, 92, formerly of Port Matilda died Wednesday March 18, 2015 at Hearthside Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, State College.

She was born September 12, 1922 in Warriors Mark, a daughter of Adolphus Laporte and Lottie Viola (Reeder) Carper. On June 20, 1980 in Port Matilda she married Harold G. Williams. He died March 13, 1987.

Surviving are a daughter Doris Marie Riggleman of Sandy Ridge, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 sons Thomas and Donald Gray, a granddaughter Susan Riggleman, 5 sisters and 3 brothers. She was the last of her immediate family.

Mrs. Williams retired in 1983 from the Penn State University Janitorial Department following 18 years service.

She was of the Methodist faith and a member of the Port Matilda Grange, Port Matilda Lions Club, Port Matilda Garden Club and the Port Matilda Senior Citizens.

Funeral services will be held Saturday March 21, 2015 at 2 P.M. at Feller Memorial Home. Interment will follow at William's Cemetery, Port Matilda. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 P.M. until the time of services.
