Marie Fuoss, 87, of Tyrone died Friday April 24, 2020 at her residence.

She was born July 15, 1932 in Houtzdale, a daughter of Steven Andrew and Ruth (Brown) Sklar. On September 16, 1950 in Cumberland, Maryland she married Richard E. Fuoss. He died October 12, 2015.

Surviving are two sons; Robert A. and fiancee Carol King of Tipton, Gregg D. and wife Lisa of Tyrone, four grandchildren; Erik Fuoss, Bethany Miller and husband Matt, Todd Fuoss and wife Ashley and Jarrad Fuoss, three great-grandchildren; Aydin, Morie and Evelyn, a sister Leanora Dobish of Beccaria and a brother Steven James Sklar of Ohio. She was preceded in death by four sisters; Mildred Zeek, Shirley Ann Sklar, Hilda Mae Olenick, and Ruth Elizabeth (Betty) Minds and a brother George (Jack) Sklar.

She was a longtime employee of the Gardners Candies plant retiring following 20 years service. She was previously employed at Proctor Silex in the 70's. She was a 1937 graduate of Tyrone High School.

She enjoyed fishing in Canada and visiting relatives in Florida.

Services will be private. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park.
