Marguerite J. Ayers, 79 of Bald Eagle, died Monday, July 20, 2020. She was born on February 4, 1941 in Bald Eagle the daughter of the late John H. And Violet (Price) Fisher Sr. On February 24, 1960 at the Bald Eagle United Methodist Church she married Robert Duane Ayers who preceded her in death on December 7, 2010. She is survived by three daughters: JoAnna "Josy" (Larry) Woomer, Joyce Dean and Jaymie Mitchell; seven grandchildren: Jeremy & Dustin Woomer, William & Robert Dean, Shirley Hutchins and Preston & Parker Mitchell; six great-grandchildren, Thadd, Ty, Braeden & Cadence Woomer and Ryder & Lola Dean. She was preceded by six siblings: Shirley J. Ieraci, LeRoy J. Fisher, E. Carolyn Smith, Marjorie F. Gillam, John H. Fisher, Jr. and Eugene W. Fisher. She was the last of her immediate family.

Marguerite was a 1959 graduate of Tyrone High School. She owned and operated her own dog grooming business. She was a member of the Bald Eagle United Methodist Church and the Bald Eagle Fire Hall Auxiliary.

She enjoyed doing crafts, cooking, baking, and having her family over for get togethers, parties and holiday meals.

An 11 am funeral service for Marguerite J. Ayers will be held on Friday, July 24, 2020 at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc. with Reverend Peter Dittman officiating. Friends will be received from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Thursday, July 23, 2020 as well as on Friday from 10 am until the 11 am service.

Due to the CDC and state guidelines, the funeral home will be in observance of safe social distancing guidelines.
