Margaret I. Yaudes, 96, of Tyrone, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024. She was born in Tyrone on November 29, 1927 a daughter of the late Thomas M. and Margaret C. (Marthouse) Hostler Sr.. On October 5, 1951, she was married to Harris W. Yaudes who preceded her in death in 2006. Surviving are two children, William (Sue) Yaudes, and Marlene (Sam) Potts; four grandchildren, Aaron, Kari, Lori, and Kimberly; 8 great-grandchildren: one great great grandson; a sister: Dorothy Garman; and three sister-in-laws: Virginia, Bonnie, and Leah. She was preceded in death by four brothers: Bob, Gene, Tom, and Jimmy; and five sisters: Marge, Grace, Anne, Helen, and Mary.

Margaret was a 1947 graduate of Tyrone Area High School. She worked for Reliance Company as a seamstress. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, quilting, knitting, and doing word puzzles. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandson.

An 11 am funeral service for Margaret I. Yaudes will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc. with Pastor Ken Patterson officiating. Friends will be received on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at the funeral home from 6-8 pm, and Wednesday from 10 am until the start of the service. Private interment will be made at Blair Memorial Park.
