Margaret "Pegi" L. Mengel, 70, of Tyrone, passed away on October 11, 2024. She was born in Tyrone on January 10, 1954 to the late David G. and Helen (Diehl) Mengel.

Pegi was an animal and nature lover and lived most of her life on her cherished "Mengel Mountain". Pegi will be missed by those of us who knew her best.

She is survived by her loving siblings, David C. (Ruth Mora), and Joseph C. Mengel; Brother-in-Law, George Ritter; nieces and nephews, Sonja Anderson, Ann Ritter (Leo Korein), Emily Mengel, Jillian Mengel, Madeline Mengel, Neyshmi Mora, Melissa Mora, and Nickol Mora (Luke Effler); great nieces and nephews, Taylor, Alma, Laurel, Arthur, and Gloria. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Suzanne L., Andrea L. and Sharon L. Mengel.

Services will be held in private.
