Mahlon C. Osterhout Jr., 42, of Tyrone died Monday December 2, 2019 in Snyder Twp. from injuries in a hunting accident.

He was born December 6, 1976 in Philipsburg., a son of the late Mahlon C. Osterhout Sr. and Cindy Miller Carper who survives in Altoona.

Surviving are children: Tessa Osterhout of Tyrone, Willow, Rogan and Harlyn Osterhout all of Altoona, a grandson Ryker, his grandfather Mahlon R. Osterhout Sr. of Tyrone, sisters; Jeannie Powell of Tyrone, Deb Masters of Freeburg, Leahayn Pensyl of Altoona and a brother Bill Miller of Petersburg.

He was previously employed at Yellow Spring Hardware, Alexandria. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his daughter.

Friends will be received at Feller Memorial Home on Sunday December 8, 2019 from 2 P.M. until the funeral service at 4 P.M., Rev. Carl A. Schmidt officiating.
