Mabel Carolyn Orwick,90, of Bald Eagle died Wednesday October 14, 2020 at UPMC Altoona.

She was born February 27, 1930 in Bald Eagle, a daughter of Eva M. Gardner and John Bryan and step-father Fred Hrynciw. On December 27, 1947 in Tyrone she married Eugene Carl Orwick who preceded her in death on January 7, 1999.

She is survived by her son, Rick Orwick and wife Lane of Bellefonte, a half brother John Hrynciw and wife Joyce of Monticello, Florida and a grandson Aaron Orwick of Tyrone.

She was a lifelong member of Bald Eagle United Methodist Church. She and her husband volunteered for Meals on Wheels for many years.

At various times in her life Carolyn worked as a cook, waitress and bookkeeper for a trucking company. In her younger days she loved to square dance. She was very interested in cats, canning, quilting, family history, putting jigsaw puzzles together and playing board games and cards.
