Lorraine Dean, 71 of Tyrone, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2024. She was born in Tyrone on February 5, 1953, the daughter of Paul and Marie (Grager) Novak. She was preceded by her husband James Clair Dean on March 4, 2022. She is survived by two children: Nicole and Robert Dean; two granddaughters: Gabrielle and Cassidy Troutman; a great-granddaughter: Lilly; three sisters: Pauline, Patti, and Kim; and 2 brothers: Paul and Jeff.

Lorraine was a graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School. She was a caregiver both professionally and at home. She enjoyed spending time with her family very much.

A celebration of the life of Lorraine Dean will be held at the convenience of the family. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Central PA Humane Society. Arrangements are under the care of Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc.
