Linda A. Shirk, 77 of Tyrone, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026. She was born in Bellefonte on March 13, 1948. She was raised by her grandmother, Madeline Rhoades who preceded her in death. She was married to Ronald Eugene Shirk who preceded her on October 12, 2002. She is survived by a daughter: Patty (Andrew) Fink; and two grandsons: Kegan and Brandon Fink.

Linda was of the Methodist faith and read her Bible regularly. She graduated from South Hills Business School with a diploma in typing and shorthand, of which she was excellent.

She enjoyed knitting, reading, gardening, canning, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and was fond of the times she would babysit. Linda had a tent at the Centre County Grange Fair that she adored and was a very friendly person and could often be a social butterfly if you met her in her own setting. She also loved to go for long rides in the mountains.

Linda was laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Centre County on Friday, February 13, 2026, with her daughter, son-in-law, and grandsons present.
