Linda Kay Boyd, 75 of Tyrone and a beloved resident at Garvey Manor, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023. She was born on February 27, 1948, in Roaring Spring, the daughter of Raymond R. and Elsie Marie (Imler) Boyd. She is survived by two children: Daniel Boyd and Lisa Holsinger; four siblings: Gloria Jean Estep, Charles A. Boyd, Carol A. Friday, and Joyce L. Ellenberger; two Granddaughters, MaeLena Grazier and Grace Magaha; a great-granddaughter: RaeElla Jo Grazier; and a great-grandson on the way; and her many furr grandchildren, Blue, Sadie, Brodie and Gracie.

Linda was a member of the Tyrone Alliance Church, and she worked at the VA hospital as a switchboard operator for many years. Linda was a social butterfly and adored being outside. She loved to keep up with her lawn and garden, and keeping the wildlife fed, which she cared so much for.

A 12 pm funeral service will be at The Tyrone Alliance Church, held on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 with pastor Carl Schmidt officiating. Friends will be received at 10 am until the noon service at the church. Private interment will be made following the service at the Salemville Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Richard H.
