Leroy Walter Frye, 66, of Port Matilda died Sunday November 1, 2014 at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.

He was born October 3, 1948 at Philipsburg , son of George and Pearl (Crownover) Frye. On July 10, 1985 in Maryland, he married Jane M. Fisher.

He is survived by his wife, a brother Edward Frye of Huntingdon, and a sister Beverly Meek of Port Matilda. He was preceded in death by a sister Gloria Pighetti.

Leroy was a member of the Tyrone Legion, and the Tyrone VFW for many years.

He worked as an electrician for Strouse Electric of State College and as a private electrician for Laren Horner of Spring Mills.

Leroy enjoyed spending much of his time with his wife and family, and he also enjoyed boating.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday November 6, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Feller Memorial home with Reverend Norman Huff officiating. Friends will be received from 1-2 P.M. on Thursday prior to services.
