Laura Jane Glashauser, 61 of Tyrone, passed away Friday, April 16, 2021 after a sudden illness. She was born in Altoona on January 15, 1960, the daughter of the late Harold Paul and Marjorie (Oberly) Garner. On August 15, 1987 at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Tyrone, she married Richard Thomas Glashauser who preceded her in death on December 21, 1998. She is survived by three children: Brian Walter, Casie (Beans) Glashauser, and Tyler (Ciara) Glashauser; four grandchildren: Alexander and Nicholas Walter, Levi Glashauser, and Kylie Walters; and two siblings: David Garner and Judy Nordlund.

Laura was a 1977 graduate of Tyrone High School and a 2010 graduate of Altoona VoTec receiving her nursing license. She was employed at Epworth Manor where she served as an LPN. In her free time, she enjoyed being with her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

Visitation for Laura Jane Glashauser will be held on Wednesday April 21, 2021 from 4-6 pm at Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc 115 W 10th St. Tyrone, PA 16686. Following the visitation a funeral service will be held for close friends and family of Laura with Ardean Latchford officiating.
