Lasca J. Jackson, 96, of Tyrone, passed away March 31, 2022. She was born on May 18, 1925 in Bald Eagle to the late William Ramella and Laura Loraine (Moon) McCahan.

Surviving are her children, Linda Darlene Soellner, Delbert Ray Jackson, and Melanie Lasca Keith; Grandchildren: Max, Kevin, Karri, Shad, Delbert, Angelina, Sonja, Rochelle Garrett and Sarah; a multitude of great and great great grandchildren; and her sister: Ruth Marie Durbin.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Carol Jackson; siblings: Genevive, Jean, William, Grant, John, Dennis and Sandra.

Lasca was of the protestant faith and loved the Lord devoutly. She graduated from TAHS in 1944, she worked in housekeeping at the Tyrone Hospital, Epworth Manor, and Minuet Manor. She also worked as a typist at Wilson Chemical. She enjoyed crocheting, word searches, and keeping up with her journal. She especially loved her family.

Friends will be received from 1pm to 3pm, Tuesday, April 5, 2022, followed by a service at 3pm, at Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc. with pastor Tim Guyer officiating. Private interment will be made at Blair Memorial Park, held at the convenience of the family.
