Korey H. Welsh, 43, of Bald Eagle died Tuesday December 15, 2015 at the Tyrone Regional Health Network Emergency Room.

She was born April 25, 1972 in Johnstown, a daughter of Terry and Kathleen (Varney) McClemens. On October 16, 2009 in Tyrone she married Eric R. Welsh.

Surviving are her husband, a daughter Brooke Welsh at home, two sons Noah and Avery both of Tyrone, her parents of Sidman, grandmothers Helen Varney of Lilly, Helen McClemens of Sidman, a brother Terry McClemens Jr. and wife Lauren of Davidsville, a sister Bonnie Stanko and husband John of Davidsville and nieces and nephews Mikala Faith, Emma and Macie Stanko and Grant and Erik McClemens.

Korey was a 1990 graduate of Forest Hills High School and a 1994 graduate of University of Pittsburgh Johnstown with a B.S. in Biology.

She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Tyrone and was formerly employed at Kunzler's Meat Packing, Tyrone.

Korey was very family oriented and cherished her daughter Brooke and going to her basketball games. She enjoyed baking and decorating.

Funeral services will be held Saturday December 19, 2015 at 2 P.M. at Feller Memorial Home. Interment will follow at Franklinville Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 12 noon until the time of services.
