Kenneth D. Hopkins, 78, of Tyrone died Monday September 21, 2020 at Tyrone Regional Health Network Emergency Room.

He was born April 28, 1942 in Bellwood, a son of Wilbur Roy and Evon (Miller) Hopkins. On June 26, 1965 at the Columbia Ave. Methodist Church, Tyrone he married Patricia A. McNeal.

Surviving are his wife, three daughters Brenda Markel, Lisa Mallon and husband Justin and Sonie Hopkins and fiancee Mark all of Tyrone, six granddaughters; Jessica Updyke and husband Kyle, Chelsey Markel, Tiffany Martell and husband Matt, Linsey Lewis and fiancee Tyler, Aleasha and Angela Mallon, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Mr. Hopkins retired in 2007 from Chicago Rivet, Tyrone as a wireman following thirty eight years service.

He was a member of the Boars Nest Hunting Camp, Warriors Mark. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed playing cards and traveling with his wife.

Funeral services will be held Friday September 25, 2020 at 4 P.M. at Feller Memorial Home with Rev. Eric Shafer officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 to 8 P.M.
