IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kay M.
Bell
October 2, 1939 – December 13, 2025
Kay Margaret Bell (Miller) went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 13, 2025, surrounded by the love, presence, and spirit of her family. She was born on October 2, 1939, to Russell R. Miller and Margaret M. Miller (Keefer), who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Benjamin J. Bell, with whom she shared 46 years of marriage before his passing; her daughter, Jayne A. Bell; and her brother, Russell "Skip" Miller (Carol).
Kay is survived by her sister, Donna J. Miller of Tyrone. Her memory lives on through her children, Vicki K. Bell of Tyrone, Benjamin S. Bell (Cathy) of Glen Hope, James J. Bell (Donna) of Tyrone, Robin M. Carroll (Scott) of Tyrone, and Rebecca R. Ulrich (Mike) of Tyrone.
Kay was blessed to be called grandmother to 15 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Though circumstances sometimes limited time together, she faithfully carried her entire family in her daily prayers. She was grateful for the opportunities she had to provide hands-on love and care across generations and was honored to be a steady and nurturing presence to Ryder and Nevaeh. Her children and grandchildren each held a special place in her heart and were deeply loved.
A woman of deep faith, Kay loved the Lord and read her Bible daily. She faithfully attended Bald Eagle United Methodist Church. As the matriarch of her family, she led with quiet strength, compassion, and devotion, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was also preceded in death by four great-grandchildren.
"Well done, my good and faithful servant."
