Obituary

Kase Laign Taylor, born November 7, 1990 in Altoona PA, unexpectedly passed away at his residence in Adelanto, CA on Sunday, June 28, 2026. He was the son of Sheila (Latchford) Taylor, of Cathedral City, CA; and Kevin Taylor of Tipton, PA; and beloved brother and brother-in-law of Heather Taylor and Andrew Warrender, Keather and Joe Hardesty, Dana and Tommy Smith, Nicole and Rodrigo de Leon, Kevin B Taylor, and Kason Taylor. Kase was also the beloved Uncle of Elvis, Jude, Phoenix, Tobias, Eliana, & Joaquin. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, (Verden and Edie Latchford, Dean and Mary Louise Taylor, and Freddie Pacanowski) and cousins, (Erika Latchford and Jimbo Dixon). Kase was a resident of one of the "Espinoza Adult Care Home's" where truly care came from the heart as he was so loved by the family who owned the homes, Amber and Rae, their sons Chance, Rae Jr (Monster), and Anthony (Taco); and of course all of the Care Staff (with Lydia, Bessie, Candice, and Justin having been with him almost the entire 10 years he had resided there). Kase's world, as simplistic as it may have seemed to an outsider, based on his disabilities and what might have been easily missed, was how he taught many people to reach and find a deeper level of compassion and understanding for those with special needs. Anyone who had the opportunity to be a part of Kase's life in any capacity, is a better person because of him; and as in his life, Kase continues to help others learn through his body being donated to the "Research for Life" facility. There will be "celebration of life get together(s)" planned to occur in both CA and PA nearer to Kase's birthday for family and friends once his ashes are received.
