Judy W. Houser, 77 of Tyrone, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2023. She was born in Altoona on September 23, 1945, the daughter of the late Glenn "Archie" and Betty (Snyder) Waite. On May 23, 1966, in Tyrone, she married James Houser who survives. Also surviving are three daughters: LeeAnn (Dave) Pannebaker, Betty Jo Houser both of Tyrone, and Lori Houser of Smithmill; three grandsons: Courtland and Colby Pannebaker, and Mason Phillips; and cousins: Betsy Wright and Misty Trump. She was preceded by cousins: Charles Troutwine and Janice Eden. Judy was the last of her immediate family.

Judy was a graduate of Tyrone High School and a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd. She worked as an administrative assistant for her long time employer Edward S. Newlin, Attorney at Law. She was a former Girl Scout leader and a member of the Tyrone Historical Society.

Friends will be received on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at Feller Memorial Home, from 4 - 6 pm, a private family service will be held following the visitation. Interment will be held at the Bald Eagle Cemetery. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Tyrone Historical Society, 850 Pennsylvania Avenue, Tyrone, PA 16686.
