Juanita Baim Crawford, age 75, of Newark, DE died Saturday, June 25, 2016 after her struggle with metastatic cancer which was undiagnosed until 12 weeks ago.

Juanita was born May 28, 1941 to Reverend Frank and Lucy Baim . She graduated from Lock Haven High School and Indiana University of PA, majoring in music and earning a Masters Degree plus 30. She taught for 28 years in public schools at New Castle, PA and Newark, DE and another 13 years at Wilmington Christian School teaching Computer Education. She was honored as Teacher of the Year in 1975 and received several certificates of accomplishment. After retirement she did some traveling and enjoyed wintering in Florida.

She is survived by her husband Richard of 51 years, a sister Sharon Johnson of Hattisburg, Miss, a brother Robert Baim of Lynchburg, VA and a niece and nephew and their children.

Friends will be received on Thursday, June 30th at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone, PA from 12 noon until the 1 PM funeral service officiated by Reverend Paul Pease. Interment will follow at the Arch Springs Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Sinking Valley, PA.
