Joshua Matthew Blowers, age 31 of Tyrone died Thursday, May 31, 2017. He was born August 29, 1985 in Philipsburg, the son of Chris and Connie Burns Blowers. He is survived by a sister, Heather (Steve) Johnson, a niece and nephew, Haylee and Eli who he adored, two aunts Georgie DeArmitt and Jane Blowers who were dear to his heart along with several other aunts and uncles and two special cousins, Jeffrey and Sydney Novak. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Stella Blowers and George and Erma Burns.

Josh was a 2004 graduate of Tyrone Area High School and had been employed as a carpenter by Elevation Management. He was a member of the Tyrone Hook and Ladder Fire Company. He enjoyed wood working, cutting firewood, riding dirt bikes and four wheelers, hunting and fishing and participated in a DJ's pool league.

Friends will be received at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday from 4 to 6 PM followed by the funeral service conducted by Ardean Latchford. Private interment will be at Baughman Cemetery.
