Joseph "Joe" Lee Miller, 44 of Tyrone passed away unexpectedly Dec.6, 2022.

Joe is survived by his loving mother Sandra (Albright) Miller, grandmother Eleanor Miller, brother Benjamin Miller, sister Melissa (Benjamin) Gehlman, nieces Elaina and Maura, nephew Corey Gehlman, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and his beloved and loyal companion Remi. Joe is also survived by his many friends and co-workers whom he loved as family.

Joe was preceded in death by his father Terry L. Miller who was his role model in life.

Joe's life was a life of service. He served in the United States Air Force as Security Police. He then entered the Pennsylvania State Police Academy, serving at the Huntingdon barracks as a Trooper in the crime unit.

Joe was an avid outdoorsman, and he shared his knowledge and passion of hunting and fishing with his nieces, nephew, and his friends.

Joe will be remembered for his smile, and his servant heart. Friends will be received on Monday 12/12/22 at the Tyrone Church of the Brethren from 12 until 2 with celebration of life to begin at 2 with State Police Honors.
