Joseph N. Chille, 84, of Brooksville, Florida, and formerly of Reading and Tyrone, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026. Born February 21, 1942, in Mount Union, he was the son of the late Jacob and Santina (DeAngelo) Chille. Joseph is survived by his three daughters: Gina M., wife of Al Shepherd; Diana C., wife of Jeremy Wagner; and Christina E., wife of Eric Andrews, all of Reading, PA. He is also survived by his grandsons Joseph Shepherd and Zachary Kreiser; his granddaughter Tianna Andrews; and two great-granddaughters, Isabella and Alayna. He leaves behind many cousins, nieces, and nephews, as well as his long time companion and best friend, Ginny Van Scoyoc. He was preceded in death by his brother, Salvatore Chille, and by his beloved and cherished dog, Cinderella.

Joseph enjoyed hunting, model trains, woodworking, and being an active member of the Cloverleaf HAM Radio Club. He especially loved building birdhouses and planter boxes for his friends at church. He retired in 2004 as the owner and operator of Chille's Appliance Service after 33 years of dedicated service.
