John LeRoy Sullivan, 80, of Spruce Creek, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023. He was born in Loup City, Nebraska on May 6, 1942, to the late Albert and Lucille (Lorentz) Sullivan.

John is survived by a daughter, Kelly Sullivan; and a son, Sean Sullivan and wife Amy.

After growing up in Oakland, California, John entered The Air Force and served in Viet Nam. After his discharge, he finished his education in Electrical Engineering at the University of Minnesota. After living in many places around the country, John eventually returned to Northern California where he became successful, starting a successful company in the convention industry.

John finally settled in Spruce Creek, Pennsylvania in 2014, where he spent his days following two of his greatest passions, fly fishing and painting.

The family is planning a celebration of life service to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to charities that John was passionate about, Veterans with PTSD and the Arts.
