John M. Kotuc Sr., 79 of Tyrone and a guest at The Village at Morrisons Cove, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025. He was born on June 18, 1946, in Pecksville, PA, the son of the late Michael and Constance (Correll) Kotuc. He is survived by three children: Kimberly (David) Henlin, John M. Kotuc Jr., and Benjamin (Yvonne) Tigue; and two grandchildren: Josh and Cass Tigue.

John was a Private Investigator and worked as Private Security until he retired in 1994. He was of the Catholic Faith. He served honorably in the United States Navy and following his time of active duty, he enlisted in the United States Army as a reservist. He served his country for almost a decade and was a Vietnam Veteran.

John was a member of the Legion, DAV, and Vietnam Vets of America. He enjoyed fishing, farm markets, and shooting sports.Interment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with military honors will take place on Friday, January 2, 2026, a (time).
