John "Jack" Charles Igou Jr., 84, of Tyrone, passed away following a short illness on April 30, 2023. He was born in Philipsburg on March 29, 1939 to the late John C. and Margaret (Montgomery) Igou.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Igou (Smith); children, Yolanda Igou Bolden (Mike), Cathy Igou Frankhoser, Kimberly Igou (Kris), Ervin Maier (Lori) and David Wertz (Terra); 21 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. He is proceeded in death by his parents and 2 grandsons.

Jack graduated from TAHS in 1957, and shortly after he served in the Air force serving in Guam. After his service in the military, he worked as a manager Juniata Packing and after retiring he had various odd jobs.

Jack was a lifelong sportsman with hunting, fishing, and an expert marksman. He excelled in competition up to his death.

Friends and family will be received from 12 to 2pm with a service to follow on May 3rd, 2023, at Feller Memorial Home, with military honors. Internment will be held privately at Blair Memorial Park.
