Joanne M. Bressler, 88, of Tyrone, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother died unexpectedly Thursday January 11, 2018 at UPMC Altoona.

She was born August 23, 1929 in Fuoss Mills, a daughter of Charles and Ethel (Miller) Focht. On January 29, 1948 in Altoona she married Frederick A. Bressler Sr.

Surviving are her husband, three daughters; Sharon Probst and husband Howard of Williamsport, Linda Ellenberger and husband Roy of Warriors Mark, Barbara A. Seeger and husband Greg of Warriors Mark, a son Frederick A. Jr. and wife Teresa of Fairbanks, Alaska, eight grandchildren, Kyle Probst, Amy Page, Jennifer and Jacob Ellenberger, Robert and Christopher Bressler and Ryan and Logan Seeger, eleven great-grandchildren, four sisters; Rudelle Castel of Portage, Phyllis Stevens of Bellemeade, Sara Jane Kissell of Tipton and Frances Benn of Hollidaysburg and a brother Steve Focht of Bellwood. She was preceded in death by a sister Shirley Vaughn and a brother Kenneth Focht.

Joanne enjoyed painting, puzzles, word searches and being with her grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Feller Memorial Home on Monday January 15, 2018 from 10 A.M. until the funeral service at 11 A.M., Rev. Carl A. Schmidt officiating. Interment will follow at Blair Memorial Park.
