Janet L. Cassady, age 89, of Tyrone died Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Hillview Chateau, Altoona. She was born May 10, 1928 in California, the daughter of Roy M. and Margaret (Purdue) Ehrisman and was married to Charles C. Cassady Sr. who survives. Also surviving are two children, Charles C. (Susan) Cassady Jr. of Speedway, IN and Connie L. Woodring of Chula Vista, CA. She was preceded in death by three siblings – Kenneth Ehrisman, Doris M. Carper and Robert G. Ehrisman.

Janet was a graduate of Bellwood Antis High School, Class of 1943. She had been employed in the meat department of the Bilo market in Tyrone. Janet was very active and enjoyed bowling and playing golf.

Private interment was at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were under the care of the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc., 115 W. 10th Street, Tyrone, PA 16686.
