Jane Elizabeth (Conrad) Ramsey, 100 of Port Matilda, Went to be with her Lord on November 20, 2023. She was born in Philipsburg, PA on April 6, 1923, the daughter of the late Georgia E. Maguire and Benson D. Conrad.

She was preceded in death by parents; step-father: David P. Miller, husband: Shannon Ramsey; daughters: Marcia A. (Bruce Tepsic), Patricia K. (Gary Wertz, John Erdman); son: William D. (Cathy Neff); grandson: David L. Tepsic; and son-in-law: Galen Helsel. She is survived by daughters: Sharon L. Helsel, Kathy J. (Ed) Goss; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Jane graduated from Altoona Area High School in 1941. She went to work as an elevator operator at Altoona Hospital. She also worked at Sylvania during WWII and retired from Pattee Library, PSU in 1985. She was a 4-H leader in the late 1950's and was an active member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Port Matilda.

A 2:00 pm memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church in Port Matilda with pastor Norm Hooven officiating. Private burial will be made at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at the convenience of the family. As requested by the deceased, take a bouquet of flowers to somebody living.
