Jana Lynn Gurekovich, 57, of Tyrone died Tuesday December 8, 2020 at UPMC Altoona.

She was born July 31, 1963 in Galion, Ohio a daughter of John F. and Ann M. (Tobin) Wesoloski. On December 20, 1997 in Altoona she married Christopher S. Gurekovich. He died July 29, 2019.

Surviving are two daughters; Heather Eyer and husband Joseph of Warriors Mark, Amber Shank of Tipton, five grandchildren; Xander, Vincent Jr.and Paige Ann Shank, Caylor and Gannon Eyer, her parents of Tipton and two sisters; Jackie Holmes and husband Scott of Port Matilda and Cheryl Morrissey and husband Jack of Tyrone.

She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church.

She was a loan consultant for PHEAA, State College for three years and previously was employed at Boscovs, Altoona.

Jana loved her grandchildren, her animals, nieces and nephews and going to the beach.

Private services at the convenience of the family.
