James "Jimmy" Anthony Pierce, 63 of Tyrone, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024. He was born on November 22, 1960 in Corning, NY the son of the late Donald R. Pierce and Annie Faye Hardin. On December 11, 2003, in Tyrone he married Donna Pierce who survives. Also surviving is a son: Jesse Hoover; two grandsons: Brayden Eckley and Calvin Hoover; three sisters: Donna Hammond, Rose Kline, and Sherri Soellner; and his special companion Takoda. He was preceded in death by a son: Daniel Ralston; and a brother: Donald Pierce.

At Jimmy's request, there will be a celebration of life luncheon on March 16, 2024 at 1 pm at Calvary Church Tyrone, 1062 Pennsylvania Ave. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society, 1837 E Pleasant Valley Blvd, Altoona, PA 16602.
