James E. Grazier, known for his kindness, strength and endless heart, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. He was 71 years young and lived every one of those years to the fullest.

A second-degree black belt, Jim brought focus, discipline and quiet strength into every aspect of his life. He was an avid outdoorsman, finding his joy deep in the woods with a fishing rod in hand or tracking game with the patience only true hunters know. Yet, despite his love of the wild, Jim's heart was tender — he was a true animal lover, with a soft spot for every four-legged friend he met.

Remarkably athletic, Jim was a lifelong runner whose passion never slowed. Even in his 60s, he could blaze through a 5K in less than 21 minutes — a feat most would envy at any age.

Above all, Jim had a caring and giving heart. Whether it was offering the shirt off his back, a listening ear or a helping hand, he lived with generosity and a quiet, unshakable love for his family and friends. He was a devoted father, proud grandfather, loyal brother, loving uncle and a friend to many.

While his passing leaves a hole in our hearts, we find peace in knowing that his spirit lives on in everyone who had the privilege to know him.

A 1:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial for Jim will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, at St. Matthew Catholic Church, with Father Michael Pleva officiating. Interment will be made at Oak Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jim's memory may be made to the Central PA Humane Society. Arrangements are under the care of the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc.
