CMDR Jackie R Cooper

Jackie (Jack) R Cooper, 88, of Tyrone, passed away on December 20, 2024 at his home. He was born in Desert Texas son of the late Otis and Nadine (Ingram) Cooper. He married Charlotte R Lucas May 24 1997.

Surviving are his wife, daughters: Carol Anna (Charles), Beverly Miller; step-children: Brian Lucas, Michael (Mary) Hicks; Grandchildren: Christopher Maclean (Mary), Emily and Lindsey Anna; great grandson: Cameron Maclean; step grandchildren: Jacob and Shannon Hicks

He was preceded in death by son Brian and brother Jerry. He retired after serving 20 years in the US Navy including a tour

in Vietnam. He then worked and retired from Conrail. In retirement he worked as a teacher aide at the GACTC. He received his BBA from Texas University and his MBA from Harvard Business School.

At the request of the deceased no public services will be held.
