Hope M. Watson, 101, of Tyrone, passed away Tuesday. She was born in Tyrone, daughter of the late Frank and Clara (Hornauer) Reed. On May 12, 1939, in Milesburg, she married John H. Watson Sr. who preceded her in death on Jan. 16, 2000.

Surviving are three sons: John H. (Doris) Jr., Jerry (Barbara) and Jeff (Sandy) Watson; six grandchildren; four step grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; eight step great-grandchildren; and three step great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Harry, Charles and Herman Reed; and a sister, Clara Hewitt. Hope was the last of her immediate family.

Hope was formerly employed by and retired from Big Yank. She was also a member of First English Lutheran Church of Tyrone. Hope enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family.

Friends will be received from 2 until the 3 p.m. funeral service Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Feller Memorial Home, Tyrone, with Pastor Sharon Erb officiating. Private interment will be made at Bald Eagle Cemetery.
