Helen A. Johnson, 62, of Tyrone died Wednesday October 28, 2015 at her residence.

She was born May 17, 1953 in Coupon, a daughter of the late Michael and Sophie (Phillip) Vingless. She was formerly married to Larry J. Johnson.

Surviving are a son Christopher of Tyrone, two sisters Sophie Sprankle of Morann, Marie Lansberry and husband Ernie of Osceola Mills and 2 brothers Frank Vingless and wife Peg of Tyrone and Michael Tomko and wife Reitus of Houtzdale. She was preceded in death by two brothers Joe and John Vingless, a brother-in-law Ron Sprankle and a step-father Mike Tomko.

She had been a waitress for the Villa, Tyrone, Bellemeade Inn and Veneziale's Restaurant, Bellwood.

She loved her dogs and gardening.

Funeral services will be held Sunday November 1, 2015 at 4 P.M. at Feller Memorial Home with Pastor Karen Telyea officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 P.M. until the time of services.
