Helen Glenn Evans, 82 of Tyrone, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. She was born in Tyrone on September 2, 1942, a daughter of the late William B. and Rosella Burwell Glenn. On September 28, 1990, in Winchester, VA, she married Larry Evans who survives. Also surviving is a daughter: Mary Ellen McMillen; one granddaughter: Leah Nicole (Dan) Brown; and two great-grandchildren Hayden and Makayla Brown; and a brother: Jerry Glenn. She was preceded in death by a daughter: Molly Ann Walk; a husband: Jerry Dale Walk; and two siblings: William "Budd" Glenn and Lynn Rice.

Helen was a 1960 graduate of Tyrone Area High School and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church. She retired from Paine Webber where she was a sales assistant for many years.

She enjoyed canoeing, taking walks, and vacationing to Arizona. She also loved wildlife, feeding the bunnies, and going deer spotting.

An 11 am committal service for Helen Glenn Evans will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Contributions in her memory may be made to Centre Wildlife Care, 156 Natural Way, Port Matilda, PA 16870. Arrangements are under the care of Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc.
