Harriet (Jean) Martz McClellan, 77, of Tyrone, went to be with the Lord and her beloved husband. She was born in Tyrone on November 9, 1947 to the late Harry Fletcher and Rose Marie (Knarr) Martz. On March 9, 1968 she married her most cherished thing in life, Buddy I McClellan, who preceded her in death in 2022, after 54 loving years together.

She leaves behind her daughter, Kristine Leigh McClellan, of Altoona; brothers, Harry (Bud) Martz Jr. and wife Maureen, of Waynesboro, and James Martz and wife, Mary Ann, of Spruce Creek. She was preceded in death by sister, Candace James.

Jean graduated Tyrone Area High, then went to nursing school to work at the Altoona hospital as an LPN. She also went on to work at the Tyrone daily Herald followed by Joyner and Drayer physical therapy. She enjoyed giving baskets of encouragement to those who were ill. She was very active in her church Tyrone Alliance Church. She taught Sunday school every Sunday at Grace Bible and Northwood Baptist. She also loved going with the ladies to church camp. Jean was a very loving kind person, she loved her family, home, God and church. She also enjoyed crafts and going to Myrtle Beach with her husband and daughter. She loved her daughter's cat Sky.

Family and close friends are welcomed to Feller Memorial Home on Friday, December 27, 2024 from 11-12 for a viewing, followed by a service.

Burial will be held in Private.
