Gregory M. Hencherick, 65, of Flinton died Sunday September 25, 2016 at his residence.

He was born May 8, 1951 in Altoona, a son of the late Michael and Shirley (Hennigan) Hencherick. On December 3, 1983 in Pinecroft he married Peggy Keith.

Surviving are his wife, 3 daughters, Jennifer Smilnak and husband John of Duncansville, Justine Aveni and husband Andrew of Altoona, Jessica Canigiani and husband Adam of Gilbertsville, five stepchildren, seventeen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, two sisters Charlene Frank and Felicia Ann Hencherick both of Altoona, a brother Philip H. and wife Lisa of Cummings, Georgia and an uncle Charles Hennigan and wife Ceil of Altoona. He was preceded in death by a grandson Jimmy Woomer.

Mr. Hencherick had been employed at Murata Erie, State College in machine maintenance for 15 years.

He was a 2000 graduate of Triangle Tech, Dubois with an Associate Degree in Electronics. He had served on the architectural committee at Glendale Yearound.

Greg enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, hunting, boating and gardening. He loved Glendale Yearound where he was ATV and four wheeler safety instructor.

Memorial services will be held Friday September 30, 2016 at 7 P.M. at Feller Memorial Home. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 6 P.M. until the time of services.
