Grace Bloom, age 92, of Canonsburg, PA and formerly of Tyrone went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 7, 2017.

Grace was born on October 7, 1924 in Warriors Mark, the daughter of the late Albert and Viola Wagner Harpster. Grace was first married to Jesse E. Barley who preceded her in death in November of 1956 and was later remarried to Ronald F. Bloom who preceded her in death in March of 2007.

Grace is survived by five daughters: Norine Mumbray (David Grudi) of Canonsburg, Claudia Keith, Viola Dysart (Edward), Crystal Deihl (Chuck) all of Tyrone and Charlene Bloom (John Brodzina) of Warriors Mark; A son: Jesse Barley (Cristi) of Tyrone; and two step-daughters: Carol Jones (John P.) and Connie Kaiser (Paul). Also surviving are 11 Grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 8 step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one step-granddaughter as well as 8 brothers and sisters; she was the last of her immediate family.

Grace was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Tyrone. She was the last surviving member of a sewing club of a special group of friends. She was an avid bowler and participated in many leagues. She was also a world traveler.

Funeral service for Grace Bloom will be 11:00 AM on Thursday May 11, 2017 at the Church of the Good Shepherd with Reverend Eric Shafer officiating. Friends will be received at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home on Wednesday 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM as well as at the church on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the 11 o'clock service.
