Geraldine M. "Gerry" Beschler, 71, of Tyrone died Tuesday April 26, 2016 at Maybrook Hills Health and Rehab Center, Altoona.

She was born November 13, 1944 in Huntingdon, a daughter of John S. and Charlotte M. (Vaughn) Baird. On March 19, 1994 in Tyrone she married Samuel L. Beschler. She was previously married to Harry Jackson and Charles Mickey.

Surviving are her husband, three daughters Brenda L. Fogleman of Port Matilda, Lisa M. Kirkpatrick of Tyrone, Donna K. Angelo of Tyrone, three grandchildren, Amber Fogleman, Christopher Kirkpatrick and Desiree Angelo and a brother John W. Baird of Pinecroft.

She had been previously employed at Gerbo's Shoe Factory, Huntingdon, Arrow Shirt, Huntingdon and Tritex, Altoona.

She was a 1965 graduate of Huntingdon High School.

Geri enjoyed gardening, crocheting, crossword puzzles and country music. She loved her grandchildren and babysitting for numerous families over the years. Her favorite color was purple.

Funeral services will be held Saturday April 30, 2016 at 10 A.M. at Feller Memorial Home with Pat Bujarski officiating. Interment will follow at Charlottesville Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 6 to 8 P.M.
