George H. Sunday Sr., 78, of Pinecroft, died Friday August 22, 2014, at his residence.

He was born August 18, 1936 in Warriors Mark, son of William and Ruth (Baney) Sunday. On August 18, 1954, in Warriors Mark, he married Ruth M.

Cowfer.

He is survived by his wife, 2 daughters Shelly Morrissey and husband Harry of Tyrone, and Tracy Hamer and fiancé Thomas Gibson of Huntingdon, a son Joseph E. and wife Karen of Pheonix, AZ, 4 grandchildren Eric, Amber, and Melissa Morrissey, and Todd Hamer, 5 great grandchildren, and a brother William Sunday and wife Janet of Hanover. He was preceded in death by a son George Jr., 2 brothers, and 4 sisters.

He was a member of the Warriors Mark United Methodist Church.

He retired from PPG, Tipton as a line supervisor following 30 years of service.

George enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time in the outdoor taking walks. His favorite hobby was looking for Indian arrow heads.

Private funeral services will be at the convenience of the family.
