George Edward Robinson III, 64 of Tyrone, passed away with family by his side on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. He was born in Tyrone on May 12, 1961, a son of the late George E. Jr. and Mary Ann (Westwood) Robinson. On September 16, 1989, at Christ United Methodist Church in Tyrone, he married Linda Miller who survives. Also surviving is a brother: Rick (Kelly) Robinson; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded by a brother: Paul Robinson.

George was a 1979 graduate of Tyrone Area High School. He was a retired truck driver who learned how to do it the hard way. He belonged to Cartright Hunting Club and the Blazing Arrow Hook and Ladder Fire Company.

He enjoyed hunting with his nephews, watching the Philadelphia Eagles, and going to the hunting camp with Jeff. He especially enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.

An 11 am memorial service for George Edward Robinson III will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at the Tyrone Alliance Church with Pastor Carl Schmidt officiating. Friends will be received at the church from 10 am until the time of service. A private inurnment will be held at Blair Memorial Park. Contributions in George;s memory may be made to the Leukemia Research Foundation.
