Gary Lee Moore Sr., 72 of Tyrone, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023. He was born in Tyrone, the son of the late Ernest William and Maude Gertrude (Miller) Moore. On September 21 in Tyrone he married Sandra Lee (Seidel) Moore who preceded him in death in 2021. He is survived by three children: Tammy Weese, Gary Lee (Lori) Moore Jr., and Jaime (James Warrender) Zimmerman; five siblings: Minnie Calderwood, Jane Knepp, Ron Moore, Shirley Kirkpatrick, and Bradley "Battle" Moore; 11 grandchildren: Chris, Andrew, Mickayla, Jackie, Geri, Charles, Desiree, Trevor, Daniel, Lydia, and Bree; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded by four siblings: Melvin E, Ray, Margaret, and William Moore; and a son-in-law: Jerry Weese.

Gary worked as a laborer in both the waste removal and masonry fields. He was a past social member of the Blazing Arrow Hook and Ladder Fire Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, carpentry and watching westerns. He loved spending time with his siblings and family.

A 3 pm funeral service for Gary Lee Moore Sr. will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023 at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc. with Ardean Latchford officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 2 pm until the time of service. Interment will be made at Baughman cemetery at the convenience of the family
