Frank Robert Wilson, 64 of Tyrone, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024. He was born in Tyrone on July 24, 1960, the son of the late John W. and Marian (Hampton) Wilson Sr. He is survived by siblings: John (Doris) Wilson Jr, and Cindy (Lawrence) Cherry; nieces and nephews; Johnny (Missy), Jerry (Katie), and Jason (Heather) Wilson, Kelly (Greg), and Luke (Marcie) Cherry, and Leah (Matthew) Steele; and 11 grandnieces and grandnephews.

Frank was a 1978 graduate of Tyrone Area High School and was a member of the Grazierville United Methodist Church. He worked in the carpentry field and was employed at Terry L. Eaken General Contracting. He was also a member of the Tyrone Elks, American Legion, Blazing Arrow Hook and Ladder Fire Company, and the McIntire Hunting Camp.

He was an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener, and overall outdoorsman. He spent many days riding around in his Mustang and took it to several car shows. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was more than just an uncle to his nieces and nephews.

A 6 pm funeral service for Frank Robert Wilson will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Feller Memorial Home. Friends will be received at the home on Wednesday from 4 pm until the time of the funeral.
