Florence E. Seiner, 94, of Tyrone died Sunday August 20, 2017.

She was born October 27, 1922 in Sinking Valley, a daughter of John and Margaret (Ramey) Grager. On March 28, 1942 in Fuoss Mills she married George Seiner. He died May 23, 1997.

Surviving are a daughter Diane Miller and husband Daniel of Huntingdon, a son Duane and wife Bonna of Tyrone, 7 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a dear friend Bill McLaughlin of Tyrone. She was the last of her immediate family preceded in death by 2 sons, George F. and Jonnie, 3 sisters, Mary Hamer, Arabella Woodring and Marie Novak and 3 brothers Howard, David and James Grager.

She was a faithful member of Spruce Creek Methodist Church for over 65 years. With her husband she was very active in various capacities for her church and especially enjoyed the Gleaner's Class Ladies Group and exchanging gifts with her "secret sisters" She loved singing in the choir.

She had been employed at Big Yank and Arrow Shirts as a seamstress. She had been a 4H leader, a member of the Juniata Band Boosters and a longtime member of Hartslog Valley Grange.

Mrs. Seiner was known for her generosity, work ethic and love for her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday August 24, 2017 at 11 A.M. at Feller Memorial Home with Pastor Pat Shope officiating. Interment will follow at Charlottesville Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 to 8 P.M.
