Eric A. Hartsock, 60, of Tyrone died Monday April 2, 2018.

He ws born August 16, 1957 in Tyrone, a son of Clarence and Anna (Kupler) Hartsock. On September 5, 1998 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Tyrone he married Sheri Beckwith.

Surviving are his wife, a son Eric Albert at Home, a daughter Nicole Wicker and husband Brian of Altoona, two granddaughters; Zoey and Kiahna Wicker, four sisters; Helen Dillon, Anita Wilson, Sofie Riley and Teresa Hand all of Tyrone, a brother Dieter of Altoona and many nieces and nephews.

He was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, St. Gregory Council #1218, Tyrone VFW and a life member of Tyrone Sportsman Club.

He was formerly employed at Nelson's Produce, Altoona and as a carpenter for J.C.Yenter and Maines Engineering.

He was a 1976 graaduate of Tyrone Area High School and a graduate of the Altoona V-Tech in carpentry.

Eric enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters, hunting, fishing, target shooting, gardening and pittsburgh Steeler and Penn State football.

Funeral Mass will be held Thursday April 5, 2018 at 12 P.M. at St. Matthew Church with Fr. Jozef Kovacik officiating, Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends will be received at Feller Memorial Wednesday from 6 to 9P.M.
